Assistant or Associate Professor of Journalism Studies
The Missouri School of Journalism invites applications for a
tenure-track or tenured position at the Assistant or Associate Professor
level beginning in August 2015.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in journalism, mass communication, or related
discipline at time of appointment
Competitive recruitment: Candidates will be evaluated on teaching in
undergraduate and graduate journalism or related fields and scholarship
(social scientific or humanistic research and publication).
Teaching Assignment: Candidate will teach one or more courses in the
undergraduate core curriculum, such as Communications Law,
Cross-Cultural Journalism or Principles of American Journalism and
communications law and/or ethics at the doctoral and master's levels.

and continue until the position is filled. Please provide a letter
describing teaching, professional background, research, and a CV with
