[ecrea] PhD course in discourse analysis

The course takes place from 18-22 August 2014 at the doctoral program 
for Discourse and Contemporary Culture at Aalborg University, Denmark.



The course is aimed at doctoral students interested in theoretical as 
well as methodological approaches to analyzing organizational and 
professional discourses. The focus will be on a critical appraisal of 
different discourse analytical frameworks. Each day is divided into 
presentations from the workshop instructors, followed by smaller group 
work sessions along specific discourse analytic tasks. As a 
prerequisite, participants will be asked to send brief synopses of their 
ongoing research (no more than 2 pages). The workshop will endeavour to 
make connections with participants’ research interests and offer 
relevant insights at theoretical and analytical levels.
