*Salary: Senior Lecturer: £36,862 - £45,336;  Lecturer: £31,798 - £35,788*

As part of a team you will provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Department of Media, preferably in areas related to media industries and audiences, media spaces, and the convergence of old and new media platforms and content.

You will enhance the Department's research strengths through the publication of your high quality research. You will also participate in internal and external networks to contribute to student recruitment, outreach work and/or research impact and income generation.

You will be an early career or established research active academic with a relevant PhD and/or equivalent postgraduate or professional qualification/experience. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant texts, concepts, and approaches relating to media and the social and cultural impact of media technologies with the ability to create and deliver innovative and interesting modules designed to provide a high quality student experience.
