Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer in Media & Cultural Studies (Gender)

Salary: SL: £36,715 - £45,155 L: £31,671 - £35,646

As part of a team, you will provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Department of Media's programmes in media and cultural studies. This post reflects both the growth in undergraduate recruitment to media programmes and the further development of postgraduate provision and the research profile in media and cultural studies.

You must have a PhD and/or equivalent postgraduate/professional qualification/experience, together with expertise in an aspect of media and cultural studies. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with publications in contemporary media and cultural studies with an emphasis on gender issues within a postmodern media and cultural studies context, for example, on the body, identity, fashion, or gendered representations within film, television, and visual culture.
