challenges, ranging from physical dangers to legal and ethical dilemmas.
The Israel-Gaza conflict exemplifies the complexity of reporting in
volatile environments, where journalists must navigate targeted
violence, propaganda, and restrictions while striving to deliver
accurate and impartial coverage. Recent studies (Reporters Without
Borders, 2024; Committee to Protect Journalists, 2023) underscore the
urgent need for enhanced protection and support mechanisms for
journalists worldwide. By examining the Israel-Gaza conflict as a case
study, this conference aims to generate actionable insights and foster
collaboration among key stakeholders to strengthen journalist safety
globally.
