The Faculty of Communication at Akdeniz University is delighted to announce the 5th International Media Studies Symposium, scheduled to take place from May 29 to 31, 2024, in Antalya. In response to the evolving global landscape, the Symposium will offer a hybrid experience, allowing both online and face-to-face participation.


In an era characterized by unprecedented advancements in technology, the 5th International Media Studies Symposium at Akdeniz University's Faculty of Communication invites scholars, researchers, and professionals to contribute to a dynamic exploration of the "/Future of Communication in the Age of AI./" This theme is grounded in the acknowledgment of the transformative role that artificial intelligence (AI) plays across diverse disciplines within communication sciences.


The Symposium aims to delve deeper into the intricate relationship between AI and communication sciences. We encourage submissions until April 15, 2024, that build upon and extend the insights provided by these and other notable research papers, fostering a nuanced understanding of the Future of Communication in the Age of AI.


Join us in Antalya for a stimulating exchange of ideas, collaboration, and exploration of the Future of Communication in the Age of AI. We look forward to your valuable contributions to this dynamic symposium, which requires an early bird registration fee of 20€until April 29, 2024, and of 40€until May 13, 2024.
